Our Holiday Bedroom Reveal
I am so excited to finally share our newly remodeled bedroom with you!
So when we moved into our “Forever” Home in June, I was so excited to decorate the master bedroom for the holidays. We painted the bedroom last week, and added shiplap to the main wall. There is still so much to do in this space, but we are off to a great start just in time to for Christmas. I hope this special space offers some kind of inspiration and gets you in the mood to decorate for the holidays.
I wanted to start this post off with this Simple Ruffle Bedspread set I received from Antique Farmhouse. It was so pretty, I could not resist it. I’m sad to say it has sold out, but I did find it here for you. It comes in a variety of colors, so soft and perfect for any farmhouse bedroom.
Since I wanted to incorporate a lot of color in the room this year I wanted to go with a simple white bedding. But don’t be fooled, the most adorable red plaid sheets are hiding underneath.
Now let’s get down to the Christmas decor.
I found the most amazing company this year I am so excited to share them with you. I stumbled across Tree Classics and found the most amazing tree that stopped me in my tracks.
The Clifton Pine Artificial Tree is so pretty. This tree was so simple to put together, and so lifelike. The stand is super sturdy and fit perfectly into the corner of the master.
I have a huge love for wreaths and garlands, so when the holiday season rolls around I seem to buy more and more. Tree Classics has so many amazing ones to choose from. This year I went with two Morning Frost Garlands and the Morning Frost Wreath.
The garlands and wreath have lightly flocked branches, adorned with ornaments and berries. They are absolutely stunning and a great quality. They have warm LED lights with a built-in battery packs and 6-hour timer provide added convenience.
Can you believe I found this 24″ Holiday wreath at Walmart for only $12.97. We added one to each side of the bed. With all the red pops in this room, I just wanted a few green touches to balance everything out.
Another great find this year was this 6′ Cypress Garland from Gardeners Supply. It looks so real without all the mess. I actually bought a live on this year, and love this faux one even more than the real deal. It lays perfectly with no fuss, what more could you ask for?
One of my favorite treasures this holiday season was this Red Ticking Christmas Pennant pillow by Fabric Scout Studio. What I love most about this small shop, is they have tons of pick-a-pennant pillows so you can customize your decor or gifts. This pillow is so universal it can be tucked into a basket or used on a bed or chair to, add a little vintage look. The red stripe custom sized pillow covers are from @tatteredandtwine I adore them.
How about this amazing sign from Wonderfully Made Studio. I love the red frame and the phrase of course! This Sleep in Heavenly Peace sign is hands down one of my favorite items this season in our bedroom. Please check out Meghan’s shop and show some small business love. As a fellow sign maker, I know how much work and love goes into each piece.
If you watched my IG stories over the last few weeks you might have seen our DIY Vintage Book Tutorial. Last year I did a detailed blog post you can find here. I also though adding some red books that my mom @tatteredandtwine decorated and stamped for me would be a perfect addition to the night stand. She loves making these, if your looking for some last minute decor or gift ideas. The taper candlesticks can be found in my shop here. I found the red tapers at Hobby Lobby and Christmas Tree candle at Home Goods.
As a supporter of small shops I couldn’t wait to share these Faux Flowers from Pine & Petal Weddings. They have a wide variety of flowers, vases, and you guys these are scented! My whole bedroom smells amazing. These flowers look so real and I can’t wait to order more for every season.
The Bench! So can I be honest for a minute? This was our bench from our 7′ farm table that Mike built, which did not fit in our new home. He built this bench and I just couldn’t bring myself to let it go. So I placed it in front of our two large master bedroom windows. I found these metal buckets at Kirklands, they come in three different sizes. The small plant is from Walmart for under $10 another great deal! I wanted to add in the Escape Bag from Painted Fox Home and red Hunter boots because they are too cute to pack away for the Winter.
In the smaller buckets we added a plaid throw, and a red wood bead garland with greenery. I like to mix patterns and texture into every space in my home.
I tucked in a pair of wooden balusters from our shop. These bowls were perfect to add in some small trees and paper.
See that cute plaid pillow? Well it isn’t hard to believe that was a decor steals find. This stripe pennant pillow is another small shop find from Winx Whimsies. I love red ticking and these just remind me of something from a small off the road vintage store.
Last but not least is this adorable mini flocked tree is from King of Christmas doesn’t it look amazing tucked into this corner? I finished off this space by adding in Christmas presents into my small canvas baskets from Steele Canvas. I use these all year long they are so fun to decorate with.
Thats a wrap! Thank you for joining me for this bedroom reveal and I hope you have the best 2018 Holiday!
